Musical Freedom: Sandro Silva & Quintino – Epic

Musical Freedom is proud to present Sandro Silva & Quintino’s “Epic”.

Premiering in Tiësto’s set at EDC Las Vegas, Sandro Silva & Quintino’s “Epic” is quickly carving out a unique space for itself. The track has already made its way to Laidback Luke’s highly regarded live mix on Radio FG, earlier this month.

Created by two of dance music’s most promising new talents, this moody track does not fall short of its title’s promise. “Epic” features an ethereal classical chord progression followed by a haunting yet simple, tasteful melody. The song offers a unique blend of classic dance progressions and textures mixed with contemporary hands in the air simplicity.

Sandro Silva and Quintino are receiving recognition and support from today’s biggest DJ’s; the fresh and innovative sound of “Epic” is guaranteed to floor more than a few crowds this summer. Sandro Silva’s 2010 release “Prom Night” was featured as an Essential Choice on Pete Tong’s show and in June, Quintino collaborated with one of the biggest producers of the moment, Afrojack, bringing music fans the killer tune “Selecta.”

Musical Freedom presents Kryder – K2

Premiering at Ultra Music Festival in March, K2 has taken on a life of it’s own and is poised to be one of the biggest songs of the summer, with a vocal version coming later in the season. Uplifting, progressive house with tasteful synth stabs, K2 has had a whirlwind tour of the globe before it’s even been released.

First finding it’s way to Tiësto himself, K2 became a staple in Tiësto’s sets through the spring. From there the track was circulated among the crème de la crème of DJs, picking up consistent support from Calvin Harris, the Swedish House Mafia, Kaskade, Laidback Luke, Avicii, Sander Van Doorn and more. After being hammered at festivals around the world, keystone radio support from Pete Tong and Judge Jules took the fervor to the masses. With an unheard of 6 consecutive weeks of play in Judge Jules’ Radio 1 show, Jules comments, “[K2] is the best example I’ve heard of really getting the balance right: great chords, huge atmosphere and groovy undertone.”

With a monster electro remix from The Squatters the package is sure to please crowds well into the summer.

Hailed by Tiësto as his Tune of 2010, and rightfully appearing as the first track in his upcoming “CLUB LIFE Volume One – Las Vegas” compilation due out April 4th, Henrik B’s “Now & Forever” is primed and ready to be unleashed to the masses. Featuring legendary metal vocalist Christian Älvestam, Henrik B offers a truly colossal track that is equally at home opening a festival set as it is on the radio or headphones.

Initially getting his start in the techno realm on renowned labels such as Drumcode and Cocooon, Henrik’s move into the house arena was met with equal, if not greater, celebration. His work quickly made its way to the most preeminent DJs on the planet, finding homes on the labels of Steve Angello and Eric Prydz, amongst others. Following up his enormous collaboration with Axwell on their reworking of Adrian Lux’s “Teenage Crime”, “Now & Forever” is another massive anthem in the same style.
