Today we would like to introduce you to those people, who often perform unnoticed during Tiesto’s appearances. These guys are an integral and play a very important part of Tiesto show. And if they weren’t there, then we would never see such unique video projections, lighting effects, and never hear such quality music. Watching Tiesto’s shows, it can be bravely said that he is the only DJ in the planet, who works with the professional team and use only this technique, which has never been used by any other performer. So, who are these mysterious, very talented guys that Tiesto has got together in his team?

What involvement does Tijs have in the production?

Bart Roelen – Tour and Production Manager.
Roger Moore – Sound Engineer
Koen De Puysseleir – Light and Video director
Wilco Jung – Video producer
Rens Prumme and Nico Menkveld – Airplane pilots

The experienced team consists of highly motivated young people, who have a lot of experience in the industry and that are known as specialists within their field. With experts such as Bart Roelen (Production Director), Bert Kelchtermans (Light, Video and Creative), Rodger Blom and Mark Riemersma (Audio), Gerard Fernandez (Production Manager & Special FX), Rogier Haasnoot (Event Manager & Logistics) and Maurice Verschueren (General Manager) Unlimited Productions strives to provide a new exceptionally high quality standard.

Unlimited Productions has emerged out of the demand for services of the current team when it comes to the concept development, design and execution of international tours for artists. The fundaments were first laid during the preparations of the Elements of Life world tour of Tiësto. This tour, which ended by the beginning of 2008, lead to the fact that Unlimited Productions currently looks after the technical production, including tour management, for all shows of both this artist and Ferry Corsten.

As an artist I have been able to travel across our planet. During my career many highlights have passed. From the opening of the Olympic Games to the first DJ ever to sell-out a stadium event. But the most important aspect is the contact I have with people from all over the world. The chance to communicate through my music as I believe in the power of music as a universal language.

Click here to view the embedded video.

I have always supported charities privately. Many charities have contacted me to become an ambassador. Sometimes I agreed to do something for them, but I never found one that fitted me perfectly. A charity that gives me the chance to go more in-depth both as a person and an artist. Until I came across Dance4Life. The enthusiasm and commitment they have to fulfill their dream inspires me, and it has become my dream now too.

The way Dance4Life engages with young people around the world to do something about the HIV / AIDS problem is very powerful. They offer young people an attractive way to do something themselves, and reward those who have that with a spectacular event. The combination of serious content and entertainment assures that Dance4Life gets young people on the move.

So, in 2006 I have decided to become their ambassador. This means I do many things to make Dance4Life a huge success. I perform at their events, produced their 2006 anthem and I’m part of their mass-media campaign in different ways to spread their message: ‘Start Dancing, Stop Aids, Dance4Life!’

The closing Dance4Life events are organized simultaneously around the globe and are audio-visually connected via live satellite stream. All participating youth have taken part in the Dance4Life schools project. Starting in 2004 Dance4Life was active on three continents; Africa, Asia and Europe. Now in 2008 Dance4Life has been active in 19 different countries of which 15 will be connected in the live stream.

Tiësto feat Maxi Jazz – Dance4Life (Official Video)

The countries that take part this year are: Germany, Ibiza, Ireland, Kenya, Mexico, Moldova, Netherlands, Russia, Serbia, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Turkey, Uganda, UK, USA, Vietnam, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Dance4Life Netherlands is presented by STOP AIDS NOW! All money generated by the youth in the Netherlands will be donated to STOP AIDS NOW! projects aimed at prevention and awareness for young people in countries most hit by HIV / AIDS.
