Tegan and Sara certainly sound like an odd choice to do vocals for Dutch DJ Tiësto’s fourth album, Kaleidoscope, but that’s exactly what they did. As did Kele Okereke of Bloc Party, Emily Haines, Jonsi of Sigur Ros, Nelly Furtado, and Calvin Harris, among others. Perhaps surprisingly, the result of the collaboration with Tegan and Sara, “Feel It in My Bones,” isn’t awkward at all; Tiesto manages to make Tegan and Sara’s vocals fit in smoothly with his propulsive Europop. Hopefully the rest of the collaborations on Kaleidoscope come out this well.
