Today, the Grammy’s celebrated their 57th annual ceremony rewarding artists from all musical genres for their onward hard work throughout the year. And surprisingly, a large number of electronic acts were able to score many of the nominees.

As for the ‘Best Remixed Recording’, nominees were Tiësto, Ming, Audien, Eddie Amador, Kaskade and Robin Schulz. And who else but dance music’s greatest could have won. It was Tiësto’s club breaking remix of John Legend’s ‘All of Me’, that obtained enough of the public’s favor to get awarded with the Grammy that left him speechless. It was Tiësto’s first Grammy award ever won.

He went on to thank his fans on Twitter, saying: “I am so happy and proud to win a #Grammy! Thank y’all for the support all these years!”.

Three hours before he got hold of the golden statuette, Tiësto was licking his lips in a big fruit salad with a chocolate replica of a Grammy, tweeting: “Thanks for the chocolate grammy this morning..Hopefully I get a real one later today!”. And the lesson of this, is… dreams do come true.
