Kaleidoscope Remixed Announced!

Tiësto’s new album Kaleidoscope Remixed is a reworking of Kaleidoscope, his fourth artist album that includes a stunning collection of songs written and recorded in collaboration with a variety of music talents from the worlds of dance, pop and rock. Featured artists include Jónsi from Sigur Rós, Kele Okereke from Bloc Party, Nelly Furtado, Calvin Harris and Emily Haines from Metric, to name a few.

Some of the best remixers and producers in the business were handpicked by Tiësto to bring their supreme talents to the album. Included are remixes from Tiësto himself as well as Philip D, Avicii, Bart B More, Wolfgang Gartner, Ferry Corsten, Nic Chagall, Jonas Stenberg, and more…

The Island is the third single from Australian drum and bass band Pendulum to be released from their third studio album, “Immersion”. It is due for release on 20 September 2010. “The Island” is a song split in two parts. Both parts received their first play on Zane Lowe’s Radio One Show, as he played the full 9:29 length song. It is rumoured that Tiësto will remix the song and that “Ransom” will appear as a B-Side.

“Kaleidoscope: Remixed” is going to be release in September, was announced by one Dutch music webpage. Faithfull Tiesto fans, are used for album remakes, it all started from “Just Be” and later “Element Of Life”. Remixed albums are also loved by fans, because famous producers/dj’s are being asked to make remixes for Tiesto tracks, this is a very good chance to promote themselves.

For today, it is known, that Philip D is going to prepare remix for one of Tiesto’s track. This track was recorded together with Nelly Furtado and is called – “Who Wants To Be Alone”. Tiesto said, that he really liked, Philip D feat. TLB work “Over You”, and decided to add him to the list with producers who are going to prepare remixed for his fourth solo album “Kaleidoscope”.

Released on the 31st of August 2010, Tiesto presents his latest album remake “Kaleidoscope Remixed” featuring producers like: Ferry Corsten, Nic Chagall, First State, Phillip D, and many more who prepared new remixes.

Dirty South spent the latter part of May kicking out the jams live from El Paso to Las Vegas and June ramps it up with stops in Chicago, NYC, Miami and LA. But there’s no getting past the new track that’s absolutely terrorizing dance floors at the moment – Dirty South’s “Phazing.” The smash peaked at # 2 on the Beatport Singles Chart and was made “Essential New Tune” by BBC Radio One’s Pete Tong. Phase two of “Phazing” finds Tiësto sprinkling his magic dust on Dirty South’s original for what’s bound to be one of the top remixes of 2010. Now, fans can buy a proper version of the track that they’ve only been able to hear through DJs at the clubs exclusively through Beatport! We will be in touch soon for the next installment of the “Phazing” saga. But for now, Tiësto’s remix is plenty to chew on!

World premiere of “Turboweekend – Trouble Is (Tiësto Remix)”

In recent years, the Dutch DJ Tiësto remixed for a variety of names, which stylistically far removed from the trance-genre, the DJ otherwise known. Tiësto has taken among other singles with Editors, The Killers and Yeah Yeah Yeahs during treatment, and now is the turn of Danish Turboweekend.

The project went according to a press release in order for a meeting between the DJ and his Danish agent, Peter Kjaer, who referred to the Dutchman upcoming concert in the Park 29th May You played love Turboweekend the Dutchman, and before the song was finished, the DJ had already decided that he would remix “Trouble Is”.

The result is published exclusively for the whole world on the Danish indie label IDOL! NC and broadcast 12th April. About remixed says Silas Bjerregaard from Turboweekend:

“It is a unique opportunity for us to be remixed by the world’s arguably leading DJs. It will open up new possibilities, so clearly we all three are excited about it. We think that Tiësto has done a very solid job with ‘Trouble Is’, and that he has retained the core sentiment in number, despite the pumped output. We are not even experts on style, but respect Tiësto crafts. It is clear that he mastered it to the fingertips, and we are confident that mix enough to become a hit on dance floors all around, and not only in Denmark “.

Tiësto has already played remixed in London, with jobs for the big Conference Winter Music Conference in Miami, where DJs from around the world in the next week, so there is a good chance that it comes out to correct many club-goers and DJs.

The single can be purchased online from Monday 12th April, but Tiësto version of “Trouble Is” can over the next week heard the P3 program “Unga Bunga” with Kjeld Tolstrup and “Taste” with Le Gammeltoft and Nicholas Kawamura.
